Narrative & Concept

This project was a self-initiated community contribution in the underserved Colonia Torres neighborhood of Torreón. The goal was to revitalize the entrance and main play area of the local kindergarten by creating an engaging and positive visual identity for the young students.

The mural utilizes a vibrant, child-friendly adaptation of my core graphic style to depict scenes that promote play, learning, and local pride. The execution was a collaborative process, involving my family and community parents, which demonstrates a commitment to hands-on community engagement and the ability to mobilize local resources. This mural successfully transformed an unadorned surface into an asset, showing the impact that pro bono art can have on under-resourced civic spaces.
